You do not have to have any medical background. One only needs a desire to volunteer in order to become a member. While our members do include EMTs, nurses, mental health professionals, and more, we also have members who help us out with security, education, interpretation, amateur radio operations, administration, and more.
The RMMRCCO is about fostering better communities through the emergency management phases of preparation, mitigation, response, and recovery. While our efforts are primarily focused on public health issues, to include both local issues and priorities of the U.S. Surgeon General, we strive to maintain a force to help out in any disaster or emergency.
The RMMRCCO is always looking for volunteers. If you are interested in learning more, please visit their website.
