Practicum and Clinical Rotation Opportunities

As a leader in innovative public health services, Tri-County Health Department offers supervised practice and training opportunities for selected students in several fields. We value education and are proud to help develop the next generation of public health professionals. 

Practicum Opportunities
Those students pursing a Masters or Doctorate in Public Health may select from a list of defined projects and areas to work in for the practicum or project hours. Project and practicum applications are due at least 30 days prior to your desired start date, to allow for review of applications.

Project / practicum slots are filled on a competitive basis and are non-paid

Student Nurse Clinical Placements
Tri-County Health Department (TCHD) serves as a public health clinical placement site for nursing students pursuing Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degrees from various local and national colleges and universities of nursing.  Visit the Clinical Scholars page.
