I am designing a private (non-public) pool? What are the design requirements?

Private pools and spas are exempt from the state regulations. As such, you are not required to submit to the health department a plan review or any fees for the design and construction of private pools and spas. Although exempt from regulation, Tri-County Health strongly suggests that the designers of private pools and spas follow the regulations and the plan review requirements governing public pools and spas: http://co-tricountyhealth2.civicplus.com/727/Pools-Spas-Water-Features
