"Take One Step" - A PBS Health Campaign

Tri-County Health Department joins Rocky Mountain PBS in promoting the public health series "Take One Step"

This outreach campaign, modeled on proven social marketing techniques, is based on the concept that small, and sometimes even fun, behavioral changes can add up to big accomplishments.

We all know that healthy behaviors will benefit us in the long run. But does the long run ever seem just, well, too long?

Take One Step doesn't require people to completely overhaul their lives and become healthy overnight. Instead Take One Step provides manageable tips, ideas, and encouragement, to help people incorporate good eating and fun physical activity into their everyday lives. And as in any journey, one step leads to another, eventually adding up to great strides.
