As a leader in innovative public health services, the Tri-County Health Department offers supervised practice and training opportunities for selected students in several fields. We value education and are proud to help develop the next generation of public health professionals.
Those students pursuing a master’s or doctorate in public health may select from a list of defined projects and areas to work in for the practicum or project hours. Project and practicum applications are due at least 30-days prior to your desired start date, to allow for review of applications. Project/practicum slots are filled on a competitive basis and are non-paid.
Tri-County Health Department serves as a public health clinical placement site for nursing students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from various local and national colleges and universities of nursing. Review our Clinical Scholars webpage for more information and placement requirements.
